Organize and manage multiple Emma Smart Trackers together. Easily assign devices to organizations, move them in bulk, and create global events across your entire device network.

Device Groups let you manage multiple devices together, making it easy to organize devices, assign them to subsidiaries, and create global events across your device network. This allows you to adapt the system to your organisational structure.


​What you can do with Device Groups:

  • Create Global events for an entire Device Group

  • Create dashboards for specific Device Group

  • Create widgets reading data from specific Device Group

Requirements: Active Surfact account

Create a Device Group

Step 1: From the "Devices" navbar, select "Groups"

Step 2: Click the "Add Group" icon in the upper-right corner

Step 3: Assign a Name/Title of the new Device Group

Step 4: Search for, select, and add devices to the new Group

Step 5: Save the Device Group (green checkmark)

Edit and Manage a Device Group

Open a Device Group to view its devices. You can:

  • Change the Device Group name/title

  • Assign new devices to the Group

  • Delete existing device(s)
