Temperature History and Route Replay

Open a device to see its temperature chart and route on the map, change the time range, hover to match chart and map, and replay the trip.

Click any device on the map or in the list. The screen splits: the map on top shows where the device has been, and the chart below shows its temperature over the same period.

Drag the handle between the map and the chart to give either more room.

Read the chart

  • The line is green while the temperature is inside the limits and red while it is outside.

  • Dashed lines show the alert limits. The label says where each limit comes from: device, route or group. When several apply, Signal uses the strictest.

  • Below the chart: Now, Min, Avg and Max for the selected period.

Hover to link chart and map

Move the mouse over the chart. The matching position lights up on the map, with the time and temperature. This shows exactly where a temperature peak happened.

Change the time range

Use the buttons above the chart: 6 hours (6t), 24 hours (24t, the default), 7d or 30d. Click Custom to choose your own From and To date and time, then Apply. You can go up to 2 years back.

For long periods, Signal shows averages so the chart stays fast: 15-minute averages up to 14 days, hourly up to 60 days, and longer intervals beyond that.

Replay the route

Click Play (▷) to replay the period. A marker moves along the route while the chart follows. Click again to pause.

Make a PDF

Click the document icon in the top-left corner of the chart to create a PDF readout of the selected period. See How to Create an On-Demand PDF Temperature Readout.
